    6.  Count on and back in multiples of 50 and 100. Find 100 more or less than a given number.

    7.  Measure and calculate the perimeter of 2D shapes to the nearest centimeters.

    8.  Compare and order numbers up to 1000.

    9.  Partition 3 digit numbers in various ways.

    10. Know the equivalent of  of 1 litre in milliliters.

    11. Know the equivalent of  of 1 litre in millilitres.

    12.  Read scales marked in liters and in milliliters to the nearest 100 ml.

    13.  Measure and compare capacities; use simple scaling of quantities and equivalents of mixed units.

  • Write the life cycle of a butterfly through flow diagram.

    These topics will be covered during April:

  • 1.    Interpret and present data using tables and charts.

    2.   Interpret and present data in pictograms where one picture represents 2 units.

    3.   Interpret and present data in bar charts with intervals labeled in multiples of 2.

    4.   Use information presented in scaled pictograms, bar charts and tables to answer questions.

    5.   Subtract numbers mentally and use inverse operations to check the answer.

    6.   Add and subtract amounts of money. Solve problems involving money and reason mathematically.

    7.   Count on and back in multiples of 50 and 100. Find 100 more or less than a given number.

    8.   Recall all the multiplication facts for the 2, 3,4,5,8 and 10 multiplication tables. Use the knowledge of known multiplication facts to multiply a multiple of 10 by 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8.

    9.   Consolidate recall the division facts for the 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 multiplication tables facts involving multiples of 10.

Trip to Kidzania

Dear Parents (F1: CP5),

Kindly be informed that school will arrange a trip to Kidzania on Wednesday 1/3/2017

Fees: 230 LE. (Trip fees include Pizza & juice)  

Please note that:

  • Kindly send with the student breakfast and a bottle of water.
  • Students are to wear their P.E. uniform.
  • Last day for joining the trip is Tuesday 28/2/2017.
  • The buses will leave at 8:00 am sharp
  • Pick up from school at 4:30 pm
